Vinnie's establishment is a small Italian restaurant serving Italian food and environment. The place must be pretty popular within this community because it was simply packed when I arrived. They initially estimated a wait time of 1.5 hours, but I waited for maybe half of that time before being seated. I can not speak on their outdoor dining, as it was rather cold that evening and I opted for indoor service.
The atmosphere was, although busy and rife with conversation, pleasant. This place is a good choice to share warm memories with family as well as cold negotiations with business associates.
The food, in my opinion, left something to be desired. I ordered the Ziti Napolitano and I would describe it as average. Not bad by any means, but not exceptional. The portions are rather small given the price. I also tried their penne alla Vodka, which was quite the same in terms of quality. The portions were, at least, a little better with that menu item.
Overall, the restaurant experience was an enjoyable but by no means fantastic. As stated, I give them a Hartford score of 59/75.
