15 Page Ave 4th Floor, Asheville, NC 28801
Hartford Score of 61/75
This restaurant and bar is named Hemingway's, after the esteemed Ernest Hemingway. Hemingway authored many classic novels, including: The Old Man and the Sea, For Whom the Bell Tolls, A Farewell to Arms, The Sun Also Rises, Indian Camp, To Have and Have Not, Islands in the Stream, The Garden of Eden, True at First Light. He is also known for his novellas and short works, such as: In Our Time, Men Without Women, Winner Take Nothing, The Snows of Kilimanjaro, Up in Michigan, Out of Season, My Old Man, and Roosevelt.
That said, this bar and grill has a wide array of menu items and wonderful delicious drinks. A full alcohol bar also complements this menu. I personally recommend the Amaretto Sour. The "rooftop bar," however, was the one disappointment. At a staggering 4 floors up, this bar leaves something to be desired. Perhaps this hotel may consider building the outdoor portion of the bar higher up, where the views and experience may be better.
All these things considered, Hemingway's Cuba Restaurant & Bar receives a 61/75 on the Hartford Scale.
